Hi! We’re Claudia and Pablo, the couple behind Life in the 956. We were both raised in the Rio Grande Valley, and it’s the place we proudly call home. We’re all about chasing good food, discovering hidden gems, and sharing unforgettable experiences from right here in the 956 — and beyond.
 

What started as a fun hobby has grown into a trusted local platform where thousands across South Texas come for food, travel, and lifestyle inspiration.

Our mission is simple: to inspire our community to appreciate and explore their own backyard while discovering new adventures outside the Valley too — whether it’s a neighborhood taco stand, a small business worth supporting, or a road trip destination to add to your list.
