A Perfect Staycation in the RGV!

We recently planned a little staycation not too far from home and it turned out to be such a good idea — especially if you’ve got a big family or group of friends like we do. We stayed at a spacious bay house in Port Isabel, just a quick drive to South Padre Island, and honestly, the location was super convenient.

Having Walmart and HEB nearby made it so easy to grab last-minute groceries and snacks. The house itself has 5 bedrooms, each with its own TV, and 5 full bathrooms, so no one’s fighting for a shower after the beach. 😂 It’s one of those spots where you can spread out, hang out by the outdoor grill, or just relax in the living area after a long day in the sun.
